How to use

1. Fill the tub with fresh cold water and run the pump to circulate.
2. Test with a strip, set total alkalinity to 80 to 120 ppm, then wait.
3. Adjust pH to 7.2 to 7.6 with pH Plus or the reducer.
4. Add chlorine granules and build free chlorine to 3 to 5 ppm.
5. Add a capful of Foam Away only if surface foam appears.
6. Retest and bathe once chlorine, pH and alkalinity all read in range.

What does Standard add over Basic?

Which kit do I need?

Standard suits a tub in regular family use where foam can appear. Step up to Premium for clarifier, shock and cleaning, or Premium Plus for flush and cartridge care.

How long do the contents last?

The balancers and chlorine cover the first weeks of a home tub; Foam Away lasts much longer as it is dosed only when foam shows.

Chlorine or bromine?

Chlorine is fast-acting and easy to top up; bromine is steadier at spa temperatures. This kit is chlorine; a matching Standard Bromine kit is available.

Can I buy the items separately?

Yes. Foam Away and every balancer and the chlorine are sold individually for refills.

Is it good value?

It usually costs less than buying the five products and strips separately, and saves you choosing them.

Why is foam control useful?

Bath oils, lotions and detergents leave foam that looks unpleasant; Foam Away flattens it without upsetting the sanitiser.

What tub size does it suit?

A home hot tub of 1,000 to 3,000 litres; scale up with full-size products for larger volumes.

Does Foam Away sanitise?

No. It only clears foam; the chlorine granules do the sanitising.

Foam keeps coming back?

Repeated foam means a heavy lotion load; the surface fix helps but a refill resets it.
