How to use

1. Test sanitiser; make sure free chlorine is under 5 ppm or bromine under 8 ppm.
2. With the pump on high, pour 100 ml of Instant Filter Cleaner per 1500 L into the skimmer.
3. Run the jets on full for 60 minutes, uncovered.
4. Test sanitiser and pH; adjust if you need to.
5. Get back to normal use; deep-soak the cartridge at the next scheduled service.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly does it work?

60 minutes of full circulation lifts the surface oils. Deep matting still needs an overnight soak.

How often can I use it?

Once a week as a top-up between full overnight soaks.

Do I have to remove the cartridge?

No. It is dosed into the skimmer and works with the cartridge left in place.

Will it replace my monthly soak?

No. It works alongside the soak by holding the flow between services.

How many doses does 1 L give?

Around 10 doses for a 1500 L hot tub.

Is it safe for salt and bromine systems?

Yes. It is salt-cell safe and works with chlorine, bromine and MPS sanitiser systems.

Why does it not need a soak?

The fast-action surfactants emulsify oils far quicker than soak chemistry, so a single circulation cycle does the job.

Will it damage paper pleats?

No. The dilute concentration in tub water is well below the threshold for paper or polyester pleat damage.

Does it affect pH?

Marginally. Expect a 0.1-0.2 pH lift that usually self-corrects inside 24 hours.

Flow still poor after dosing?

The cartridge is matted. Give it an overnight soak with Filter Cartridge Cleaner.

Cloudy water after dosing?

Run the filter for 4 hours; add 50 ml clarifier per 1500 L if the cloudiness stays.

Foam appearing?

A high organic load. Dose Foam Away and book the next overnight soak.

Instant cleaner or cartridge soak?

The soak is a full reset every 4 weeks; the instant cleaner is the in-between top-up that keeps flow steady.

Instant cleaner or hot tub flush?

Flush is for the pipework before draining. Instant cleaner is for the live filter cartridge between services.
